Terms and conditions

Dear Guests,

Our desire is to offer you an unforgettable experience in the CHRISTINA Hotel, in all respects: accommodation; food and drink in our restaurant; and other services.
In order to be able to offer you all this we have established a few rules that we request you to take into account during and after your stay in our hotel.

Check-in and check-out 
Check-in from 14:00 hours.
Check-out no later than 12:00 hours.
You can check-in or check-out earlier or later than the times specified above, on request, and the prices for these services are shown at reception.  If you know you will get to us after 18:00 pm, please ring us on +40.731009999
Guests leaving before 12:00 can leave their luggage in the left-luggage room for 24 hours, without extra cost/charge.
For luggage left more than 24 hours you will be charged.  If the luggage is left in the room until 16:00 hours, you will be charged 50% of the room tariff.
When the luggage is not removed until 20:00 hours, the guests will pay the full daily tariff.

Children
There is no additional charge for children under 3 years of age who stay in their parents' room.  Please, let us know in advance when you book, if you need a bed for a child.

Bar and restaurant program
You can have snacks throughout the day.
• Breakfast is served daily between 07:00 and 11:00 am.  Additional guests at breakfast: you can invite anyone to have breakfast with you, provided each invited person pays for their breakfast.  Breakfast at Hotel Christina usually costs 10 Euros, including VAT.
• Lunch is served between 12:00 and 15:00 pm.
• There is room service on request.

Payment methods
Credit cards are accepted, as well as cash and bank transfer.

Cancel reservation
Any cancellation should be made in writing. 
If the cancellation is made less than three (3) days before the expected date of arrival and before 12:00 local time, the information in the Booking paragraph will apply.  You will not be charged if you cancel your booking at least three (3) days in advance.

If you book five or more rooms, then your cancellation should be at least ten (10) days in advance (before 24:00 hours local time).  In case you do not arrive at the given date we will apply what is stated in the Booking paragraph.  You will not be penalised if you cancel your booking at least ten (10) days in advance.
In case you book by phone or fax and we do not have your debit or credit card details, you need to pay in advance to guarantee the booking.

Tips
Extra payment to the hotel personnel is up to you, as service charges are included.

Smoking
The Hotel Christina, does not allow smoking in the rooms or public areas; there are special places for smoking.  Smoking in the room will result in a cleaning charge which is equivalent to a night stay.

Parking lot and cars
You may park free of charge in the street in special parking slots, or you can pay for underground parking, if there are free slots.  Although we take all precautions, we do not take responsibility for any loss or damage.

Pets
Pets are not allowed at Hotel Christina.

Special needs
Our desire is to ensure we have good facilities for handicapped people.  The great majority of spaces in our hotel are also accessible to people in wheelchairs.  If you need any special assistance, please, let us know in advance, so that we can offer you a most pleasant stay.

Confidentiality
If you contact us by e-mail, fax, or this site, we may contact you in the future to send you materials and promotional offers, or to inform you about events we will organise.  We will never use your name or information without your permission.  You will have the possibility to communicate to us if you wish to receive this information in the future.

Extra guests
You can receive guests in your room at the Hotel Christina between 08:00 am and 20:00 pm, without extra charge.  In case you receive guests between 20:00 pm-08:00 am they will have to pay the tariff differences for a second person and to register at the reception.

Groups reservations
If you wish to book five or more rooms, please inform us in advance so that we can assist you when you arrive.  We would like to welcome in person the group members and offer them the best services.  We are pleased to offer you information about activities, events or even transport from and to the airport or railway station.

Environment protection policy
The protection of the environment is our constant preoccupation; that is why we insist on a responsible attitude in this respect.
We would like to mention that the detergents used to wash and sterilise bed linen and towels are biodegradable, and using them sparingly presupposes better preservation of the environment.  That is why we will change bed linen and towels after three days or on request; to signal your wish to have them changed, please leave the items on the floor.

Disputs and complaints 
We reserve the right to debit our guests' cards, irrespective of their wish, in at least the following cases: when leaving without payment; damage; on leaving with objects that do not belong to them and forgot to pay for at the reception; and when booking has not been cancelled as stipulated above.
Any controversy, dispute or complaint which arises as a consequence of the application of our hotel policy, we will try to resolve in a friendly manner, however if this is not possible, it will be dealt with by a Bucharest Court.

Loyalty programs
We reserve the right to offer various bonuses and extra services free of charge in order to gain our clients' loyalty.

Undesirable clients
We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or service in the restaurant to clients who are drunk, rude or noisy who will damage the reputation of Hotel Christina, or disturb our other clients.
We reserve the right to expel by force from the restaurant, bar or hotel, undesirable clients.  Also, taking into account the above, we reserve the right to select our clients.

Hotel policy modification
The hotel policy can be modified without advance notification.
